On May 17, 2022, Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine experienced a data breach that affected 362,833 patients. The breach was discovered on May 20, 2022 and notification letters were sent on or about July 19, 2022. The compromised information included the following types of personally identifiable information and protected health information: name, Social Security number, date of birth, address, telephone number, email addresses, medical record number, patient account number, diagnosis and treatment information, physician name, insurance information, and date(s) of service. Some of the information acquired during the breach was made available for approximately 10 days on the Dark Web.
