Rally’s Wage And Hour Litigation
On June 13, 2014, Hon. Michael R. Barrett of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio granted final approval to a settlement agreement establishing a $500,000 fund to compensate Rally’s and checker’s restaurant employees for unpaid wages. The plaintiffs, represented by Goldenberg Schneider and Minnillo & Jenkins, alleged that the restaurants improperly required hourly employees to work off the clock and changed employees’ time records in violation of minimum wage and overtime laws.
