Styrene Leak Litigation
Goldenberg Schneider served on the lead committee in this class action that was filed following the August 2005 styrene gas rail car release in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tens of thousands of residents and employees and hundreds of businesses either evacuated their residences or businesses or were otherwise negatively impacted by this toxic styrene release. This case was successfully resolved resulting in a multimillion-dollar recovery for those individuals and businesses negatively impacted by this release.
