The health plan company “90 Degree Benefits Wisconsin (formerly EBSO, Inc.)” experienced a data security incident in which 172,450 individuals had their personally identifiable information (“PII”) and protected health information (“PHI”)compromised. The compromised information included names, Social Security numbers, medical information and health insurance information of 90 Degree Benefits Wisconsin’s clients’ employees and health plan members. The data security event occurred from February 24 through February 27, 2022, and it was discovered on February 27, 2022. Letters notifying the compromised individuals began to be sent on or about June 6, 2022.
