Sedgwick Government Solutions and its subsidiary Managed Care Advisors (“MCA/SGS”) provide federal agencies with workers’ compensation and managed care solutions. They also manage the Nationwide Provider Network for the World Trade Center (“WTC”) Health Program. MCA/SGS recently experienced a data security incident, potentially compromising an undisclosed number of clients’ sensitive data.

On December 4, 2025, MCA/SGS discovered suspicious activity within their network. Following an investigation, MCA/SGS concluded that an unauthorized third party compromised a company server on November 16, 2025. An undisclosed number of MCA/SGS clients’ Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Protected Health Information (“PHI”) was consequently exposed. On January 2, 2026, a ransomware group posted approximately 3.4 GB of data from the compromised server to a data leak site. This data includes PII like first names, last names, addresses, Social Security Numbers, and dates of birth, in addition to PHI.
