Allegheny Health Network Data Breach Investigation

While managing servers for Allegheny Health Network’s home medical equipment and home infusion subsidiaries, IntraSystems LLC experienced a network breach. The breach occurred between October 11 and November 19, 2024 and it compromised the personally identifiable information (“PII”) of nearly 300,000 Allegheny Health Network home care patients. The “PII” included patients’ names, birthdates, addresses, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers and health insurance. On or about January 17, 2025, Allegheny Health Network began sending notification letters to the affected patients.
