RTX Corp Data Breach Investigation

RTX Corp (‘RTX) is a Virginia-based aerospace defense contractor, and one of the largest in the United States. On June 25, 2026, RTX experienced a large-scale data security event that jeopardized the personally identifiable information (‘PII’) of over one million people. According to RTX’s investigation into the breach, PII affected includes, but is not limited to, names, mailing addresses, and Social Security Numbers. Mailed notices to affected individuals of the breach event began to be mailed on July 23, 2026.
