zHealth is a San Franscisco, California-based practice management software company. It recently experienced a data security incident, potentially exposing the sensitive information belonging to more than 100,000 patients of zHealth customers.
On or around June 15, 2026, zHealth discovered that an unauthorized third-party may have copied certain information from its network environment. An investigation revealed that the unauthorized activity occurred between January 20, 2026 and January 21, 2026 and may have compromised some patients’ Personal Health Information (“PHI”). The impacted PHI includes, but is not limited to, names, medical information, and health insurance information.
