PharMerica Data Breach Investigation

PharMerica is a national leader in pharmacy services, serving over 3,100 long-term care, senior living, IDD/behavioral health, home infusion, specialty pharmacies, and hospital management programs in 50 states. From March 12-March 13, 2023, the computer network of PharMerica was breached and the breach was discovered on March 14, 2023. Individuals affected by the breach began to be notified on May 12, 2023. Included in the notification is a list of the personally identifiable information and protected health information at risk: names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medication lists and health insurance information.
