Managed Care of North America, Inc. (“MCNA Insurance Co.”) Data Breach Investigation

Between February 26, 2023 – March 7, 2023, an unauthorized third party accessed MCNA’s systems removing personal information of 8,923,662 current or former providers of dental/orthodontic care to members of certain state Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Programs. The personal information included name, social security number, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, driver’s license number, government id number, health insurance information, and information regarding dental care. The breach was discovered on May 3, 2023 and notification was sent the compromised individuals on May 26, 2023.
