Onix Group

An unauthorized party gained access to the network of Onix Group resulting in a healthcare data breach. The breach exposed the Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Protected Health Information (“PHI”) of its following affiliates: Addiction Recovery Systems (“ARS”); Cadia Healthcare; Physician’s Mobile X-Ray, and Onix Hospitality Group. The breach which was discovered on March 27, 2023, compromised the “PII” and “PHI” of 319,500 individuals. The compromised information included names, Social Security numbers, scheduling, billing, clinical information regarding medical treatment, health plan enrollment information, and direct deposit information. An investigation revealed the unauthorized party accessed Onix Group’s network from March 20- March 27, 2023; the breach was reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on May 26, 2023.
