The network of HUB International was accessed by an unauthorized party between December 12, 2022 – January 17, 2023, compromising personal information of 479,261 individuals. The compromised individuals are persons and employers for whom HUB International places insurance, current and former employees of HUB International, and individuals related to insurance carriers. The breach was discovered in January 2023 and the company began issuing notice to affected individuals on August 11, 2023. According to the notice sent to affected individuals, the compromised information includes names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account information.
