Ford Motor Company and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) have received multiple complaints about a loud piercing noise coming from the speakers of 2021-2023 F-150 trucks (hybrid and gas models), 2022 F-150 Lightnings, and 2021-2023 Expedition SUVs. The occurrence has been reported to sound like a loud crackle and pop that is followed by extremely loud static. Drivers report the deafening sound cannot be turned off even when the engine is turned off. If you or someone you know owns a Ford F-150 or Expedition and has experienced this issue and would like additional information about your legal rights, you can contact Goldenberg Schneider, LPA by calling 513-982-1569, sending an email to [email protected], or completing the “Contact Us” form to the right.
