PurFoods, LLC (“PurFoods”) dba Mom’s Meals Data Breach Investigation

PurFoods dba Mom’s Meals offers home meal delivery to individuals covered under Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid plans, Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) programs or the Older Americans Act, as well as individuals or caregivers interested in a self-pay home meal delivery program. On July 10, 2023, PurFoods determined their network had been accessed by an unauthorized party between January 16 and February 22, 2023. Beginning August 25, 2023, PurFoods issued letters to 1,237,681 individuals whose personal information and protected health information was compromised. The compromised information included individuals’ names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license/state identification numbers, financial account and/or payment card information, medical information, and health information.
