On October 19, 2023, St. Louis University announced a data breach that affected an undisclosed number of employees and students. The compromised information included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, passwords, digital signatures, health insurance information and medical information. Though the personal and protected health information was breached between December 2022 and July 2023, letters notifying the affected individuals were not sent until October 19, 2023.
