Keenan and Associates Data Breach Investigation

Keenan and Associates, an insurance brokerage company, experienced a data breach that compromised more than 1.5 million individuals’ personally identifiable information. The breach occurred intermittently between August 21, 2023, and August 27, 2023, and it was discovered on August 27, 2023. On January 26, 2024, the company started to notify affected individuals of the breach and the mailing indicated compromised information included dates of birth, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, health insurance information, and general health information.
