Lash Group is a subsidiary of Cencora, Inc. and it provides patient support programs to drug manufacturers. Through Lash Group’s partnership with drug manufacturers (see list below), Lash Group, acquired patient data. When Cencora’s network was breached by an unauthorized third party, the patient data of potentially hundreds of thousands of individuals was exfiltrated. The patient data included personally identifiable information and protected health information: names, addresses, dates of birth, diagnoses, medications and prescriptions. Though the date of the breach is unreported, Cencora learned of the breach on or about February 21, 2024 and began sending notifications to impacted individuals on or about May 22, 2024.
