Frontier Communications Parent, Inc. (“Frontier”) Data Breach Investigation

Frontier Communications Parent, formerly known as Frontier Communications Corporation, is a telecommunications company offering internet services, digital television services and home phone services in 25 states. On June 6, 2024, Frontier began notifying 751,895 individuals of a breach that compromised their names, addresses, Social Security Numbers and dates of birth. It’s believed the breach involved a ransom group, RansomHub, gaining access to Frontier’s internal systems on or about April 14, 2024. On June 4, 2024, the ransom group threatened to auction up to 5 GB of data on up to 2 million Frontier customers.
