CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, Inc. Data Breach Investigation

CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, Inc., a business services provider whose clients include various organizations and retiree health and welfare plans, experienced a data breach when an unauthorized party exploited a vulnerability on one of its web pages and accessed information in certain databases between June 2 and June 21, 2024. According to a report provided to the Maine Attorney General’s Office, the CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services data breach impacted several CBIZ clients, including Central Pennsylvania Teamsters; Knoll, Inc.; Liberty Utilities; Sanofi; and Sanofi Pasteur. The compromised information may include: name, contact details, Social Security number, date of birth/death, retiree health information, welfare plan information.
