Young Consulting LLC Data Breach Investigation

On or about April 13, 2024, Young Consulting LLC’s computer network experienced technical issues that prompted an investigation. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized person had gained access to its network from April 10- April 13, 2024. Within the network was information Blue Shield of California (“Blue Shield”) provided Young Consulting due to its business relationship with Young Consulting. Personal information and protected health information of 954,177 individuals was breached and the breached information included name, address, Social Security number, medical records and health insurance information. Young Consulting began notifying the affected individuals on August 26, 2024.
