Community Care Alliance Data Breach Investigation

Community Care Alliance (“Agency”) offers programs and services to individuals seeking support for mental illness, addiction, housing and trauma related issues. After a July 6, 2024 network disruption, the Agency learned an unauthorized character had accessed its network between July 1 – July 5, 2024. The breach compromised 115,000 individuals’ data including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, phone numbers and credit cards, medical records, and drivers’ license numbers. Reportedly, the Agency began notifying the affected individuals on March 7, 2025…more than 6 months after the breach.
