Serviceaide, Inc. Data Breach Investigation

Serviceaide, Inc. is a third-party service provider to Catholic Health System, Inc. Between September 19 and November 5, 2024, personally identifiable information (“PII”) and protected health information (“PHI”) belonging to 483,126 current and former patients of Catholic Health System was made public due to a data security incident involving Serviceaide, Inc. The PII and PHI included names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical record numbers, patient account numbers, medical/health information, health insurance information, prescription/treatment information, clinical information, provider names, provider locations, and email/usernames and passwords. On November 15, 2024, Serviceaide, Inc. became aware of the breach, and on May 9, 2025, the company began sending notification letters to the affected individuals.
