Landmark Properties, Inc. is a real estate firm specializing, among other things, in the management of upscale university student housing throughout the U.S. A short-list of Landmark Properties’ brands include the Standard, Legacy, Saga, the Retreat, and Tradition, On May 20, 2025, allegedly Landmark Properties experienced a breach of its systems exposing personally identifiable information (“PII”) of its current and former residents and employees. According to cybernews.com, “The company’s name appeared on the Morpheus ransomware gang’s dark web leak site, which criminals use to showcase their latest victims.” To date, the number of compromised individuals hasn’t been announced. The number, however, is expected to be significant because Landmark Properties is one of the largest student housing developers.
