Plavan Commercial Fueling, Inc. (d/b/a P-Fleet) Data Breach Investigation

Plavan Commercial Fueling, Inc. (“P-Fleet”) provides fleet fuel cards and payment management services to commercial fleets, owner-operators, small businesses, small fleets, construction companies, towing companies, and government agencies. At various times between November 26, 2024 and February 21, 2025, an unknown actor gained unauthorized access to a P-Fleet’s network through an employee’s email account. This breach was discovered on February 18, 2025 and P-Fleet sent notification letters to affected individuals on June 3, 2025. P-Fleet has not disclosed the types of personally identifiable information compromised during the breach, but a 2024 P-Fleet data breach resulted in the compromise of individuals’ names and Social Security numbers.
