Integrated Specialty Coverage (“ISC”) submitted data breach reports with California and Texas state agencies on July 2 and July 3, 2025, respectively. According to one report, in Texas alone, 90,021 individuals had their personally identifiable information (“PII”) and protected health information (“PHI”) compromised due to a breach of ISC ‘s network. The notification letter filed in California explained the PII and PHI was likely provided to ISC by individuals’ employers, insurance companies, or brokers in connection with insurance applications or claims. In both state reports, ISC identified the compromised PII and PHI as including social security and/or tax ID numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license or other government ID numbers, biometric data (fingerprint image or similar), and other medical information. Individuals whose PII and PHI were compromised in the breach were provided notice of the February 16, 2025 breach via a notification letter dated June 18, 2025.
