Connex Credit Union Data Breach Investigation

Connex Credit Union’s (“Connex”) network was breached on June 2 and June 3, 2025 when an authorized character gained access to its network. The breach was discovered on June 3, 2025; and, on August 7, 2025, Connex began sending notification letters to the 172,000 victims who had their personally identifiable information (“PII”) compromised during the breach. The PII included the individuals’ name, Social Security number, account number, debit card information, and/or other government identification used to open the individuals’ accounts.
