Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (“HCSG”) is a key player in providing housecleaning and dietary services to healthcare communities. According to HCSG’s October 16, 2024 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the organization learned of unauthorized activity within its systems on October 9, 2024 and started an investigation. It was determined that the breach occurred between Sept 27 and October 3, 2024, and compromised the personally identifiable information of 624,496 individuals. On August 25, 2025, HCSG began notifying the affected individuals by mail that their names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, state identification numbers, financial account information and full access credentials may have been compromised during the breach.
