ApolloMD Business Services, LLC (ApolloMD) is an Atlanta, GA-based healthcare management services organization that serves over 100 hospitals and physician groups. On May 22, 2025, ApolloMD detected suspicious activity within its IT system. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had gained access between May 22 and May 23, 2025, leading to the exposure of sensitive files for patients treated by ApolloMD’s affiliated physicians and practices. The potentially compromised personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) includes names, addresses, dates of birth, diagnoses, provider names, dates of service, treatment details, and health insurance information. For some individuals, the incident may have also involved their Social Security numbers. Between July 21 and September 11, 2025, ApolloMD notified its affected physicians and partner practices about the breach. These included:

- Aurora Emergency Physicians LLC
- Passaic River Physicians LLC
- The Bortolazzo Group LLC
- Methodist University Emergency Physicians PLLC
- Trinity Emergency Physicians LLC
- Lorain Emergency Physicians LLC; and
- Pennsylvania Hospitalist Group LLC.
On September 17, 2025, ApolloMD started mailing breach notification letters to affected individuals.
