On or about September 16, 2025, Retina Group of Florida began sending notification letters to individuals about a breach that occurred within its systems between November 3 and November 9, 2024. Reportedly, the breach compromised personal information belonging to 153,429 individuals. When a medical practice is the subject of a breach, often the compromised information includes patients’ names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses, medical Information, and health insurance information.
