Vital Imaging Medical Diagnostic Centers, LLC (‘VIMDC’) is a healthcare provider specializing in medical imaging services with 8 locations across Southern Florida. On August 22, 2025, VIMDC reported a breach of its systems to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The breach was found by VIMDC on February 13, 2025, 6 months earlier. According to VIMDC’s report, and a Notice subsequently posted on VIMDC’s website, the breach affected the personal health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII) of at least 260,000 current and former patients. The affected PHI and PII included medical information, insurance information, and demographic information (dates of birth, contact details, etc.).
