Gainsight is a customer success and management platform. Salesforce hosts Gainsight-published applications, and on November 19, 2025. Salesforce noticed suspicious activity on the Gainsight Salesforce Connected App. The next day, Salesforce published a security notice stating that customer data was breached during the security incident. Salesforce has begun notifying customers whose data was compromised. Gainsight and Salesforce have yet to announce the scope of the data breach. However, startup and technology news outlet TechCrunch reports that Google confirmed the breach impacted over 200 companies.
