IQ Credit Union Data Breach Investigation

IQ Credit Union’s vendor for digital and physical communications technology is Marquis Software Solutions (“Marquis”). On November 26, 2025, a notice was filed with the Washington State Attorney General disclosing an August 14, 2025 breach of the Marquis network. According to the notice, Marquis notified its customers (including IQ Credit Union) of the breach between October 27, 2025 and November 25, 2025. On November 26, 2025, IQ Credit Union, in turn, provided written notice of the breach to 111,368 of its customers who had their personally identifiable information (“PII”) compromised in the breach. The compromised PII included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and financial and banking information.
