Associated Radiologists of the Finger Lakes P.C. Data Breach Investigation

Associated Radiologists of the Finger Lakes P.C. (ARFL) provides radiology services to four hospitals in upstate New York. The four hospitals are: (1) Arnot Ogden Medical Center; (2) Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital; (3) Jones Memorial Hospital (Wellsville, NY); and (4) St. Joseph’s Hospital. On October 30, 2025, ARFL noticed suspicious activity on their network. They determined an unauthorized user breached their systems from October 28,2025 to October 30, 2025. This unauthorized party accessed patient files containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI). The compromised PII and PHI includes patients’ names, addresses, dates of birth, full or partial Social Security numbers and medical record numbers, as well as protected health information (PHI) including clinical or treatment details, medical procedure information, medical provider names, prescription information and health insurance information. ARFL has yet to send notification letters to potentially impacted patients, as of January 8, 2025.
