On Behalf of | Jan 14, 2026 | Firm News |

On December 8, 2025, Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health announced they were voluntarily recalling one lot of Nutrena Country Feeds Cracked Corn for livestock. Lot 8152552407RG may contain amounts of aflatoxin unsafe for livestock. When livestock consume high levels of aflatoxin, they are at greater risk of “weight loss, reduced weight gain, reduced feed intake, decreased milk or egg production, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, immune suppression, impaired blood clotting, liver damage, jaundice, and cancerous tumors,” according to Cargill’s recall announcement. Cargill has ceased distributing the recalled feed lot; however, if you or someone you know purchased a bag from the affected lot and would like additional information about your legal rights, you can contact Goldenberg Schneider, LPA by calling 513-982-1569, sending an email to [email protected] or completing the “Contact Us” form to the right.
