Eyemart Express, LLC (“Eyemart Express”) is an optical retailer with over 250 locations throughout the U.S. It recently experienced a data security incident, potentially exposing the sensitive information of an undisclosed number of Eyemart Express customers.
On April 17, 2026, the Texas Attorney General reported that Eyemart Express experienced a data breach. Ransomware actor PayoutsKing claims to have stolen 435GB of data from Eyemart Express, according to a screenshot of the PayoutsKing website obtained by ransomware.live, a ransomware monitoring outlet. Some customers’ Protected Health Information (“PHI”) and Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) were involved in the Eyemart Express data breach. Compromised PHI and PII includes, but is not limited to, names, addresses, Social Security Numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information, health insurance information, and birthdates.
