Western Orthopaedics, P.C. (“WO”) is a Denver, Colorado-based medical practice providing care for musculoskeletal conditions. It recently experienced a data breach that potentially compromised the sensitive information of 113,330 individuals.
On October 2, 2025, WO learned of the data security incident. An investigation revealed than an unauthorized third party accessed certain information within WO’s network environment between approximately September 17, 2025, and September 25, 2025. The breach impacted both Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Protected Health Information (“PHI”). The compromised PII and PHI includes, but is not limited to, full names and addresses; phone numbers; Social Security numbers; dates of birth; financial account, credit, and debit card numbers; health insurance information; health insurance plan or subscriber identification numbers; medical provider names; medical dates of service; and medical cost or billing information.
