Freeman Heyne Toma LLC (“FHT”), doing business as FHT Advisors, is a financial advising firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio. FHT recently experienced a data security incident, potentially exposing the sensitive information of an undisclosed number of FHT clients.
Upon learning of suspicious activity involving an employee’s email account, FHT launched an investigation. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized third-party accessed an FHT employee’s email multiple times between June 9, 2025 and September 29, 2025. During this time, the unauthorized third-party may have accessed some FHT clients’ Personally Identifiable Information (“PHI”). The compromised PII includes, but is not limited to, names, birthdates, Social Security numbers, and individual tax identification numbers.
