Doctors Imaging Group Data Breach Investigation

Doctors Imaging Group (“Group”) is comprised of four physician owned radiology practices: Doctors Imaging Group (Gainesville, FL), Vascular & Interventional Physicians (Gainesville, FL), Putnam Radiology Group and Women’s Center (Palatka, FL), and Invision North Florida Outpatient Imaging ( Gainesville, FL). On September 24, 2025, the Group notified the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services about a breach that was discovered on or around November 11, 2024. According to the notification, the breach of information occurred between November 5, 2024, and November 11, 2024 and exposed personally identifiable information (“PII”) and protected health information (“PHI”) belonging to 171,862 current and former patients. The PII and PHI included the patients’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, birth dates, admission dates, medical treatment information, claims information, patient account numbers, medical record numbers, financial account numbers, and account types.
