BetMGM Data Breach Investigation

BetMGM, an online sports betting platform, experienced a data breach between May 21, 2022 and May 23, 2022. Though the number of affected individuals has not been disclosed by BetMGM, it is believed to be a large number. The information that was compromised included Social Security numbers, names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and account identifiers. The May 2022 data breach was not discovered until November 28, 2022, and the affected individuals were not notified until December 21, 2022.
