Temple University Health System, Inc. Data Breach Investigation

A breach report was submitted on September 15, 2023, by Temple University Health System, Inc. (“Temple Health”) to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Dept. of H&HS). According to the report, Temple Health’s network server was hacked compromising 430,381 individuals’ personal information. The type(s) of compromised information is not included on the Dept. of H&HS’ website, but other health system data breaches have resulted in the exposure of names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and medical information.
