Navvis & Company/Hawaii Medical Services Association (“HMSA”)

A third-party provider of health management services to Hawaii Medical Services Association (“HMSA”), Navvis & Company, experienced a data breach that affected 462,000 current and former members of HMSA’s health plans. The compromised information included names, dates of birth, health plan information, medical treatment information, medical record numbers, patient account numbers, case identification numbers, provider and doctor information, and health record information. Navvis & Company discovered the breach on July 25, 2023, and later determined the breach occurred between July 12, 2023, and July 25, 2023. Notification letters were mailed to affected individuals and are dated January 9, 2024.
